With the start of the new school year, your child is probably balking under the bulk of schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and of course…Kumon.
You can’t help but think, “I need to let go of something to help my child cope! And more often than not, Kumon might be on top of your list. After all, the school will already develop your child’s skills; he doesn’t need Kumon anymore.”
But think of it this way: School is your child’s regular meal, and Kumon is your child’s vitamin or supplement. You think you don’t need it, but it actually adds to your child’s overall performance.
While Kumon can never replace your child’s regular school, Kumon allows children to study advanced high school and college-level materials with ease.
Then, you may ask, HOW?
Through daily Kumon study, students are equipped with strong academic skills and are thus capable of studying advanced materials that are two, three, or even four years above their school grade level! As they study advanced materials, children will then find schoolwork not as difficult as before. And if your child encounters challenging materials, his or her strong self-learning skills gained through Kumon will give him or her the confidence to tackle them.
Good work skills are also nurtured through Kumon. Because worksheets are done every day, your child will develop good study habits and learn to manage his time well. Learning how to prioritize and manage one’s own time can be directly applied to schoolwork, amidst the various subjects and extracurricular activities that a student experiences.
Kumon gives your child the edge, the advantage.
So this school year, we hope you will continue to entrust your child’s development to us because Kumon can help your child in school.

Can I enroll my 3 years old son at KUMON?
Hi, Myla!
Thank you for your interest in Kumon!
There is no age limit in Kumon. However, very young students will be assessed by the Instructor to see if they are ready to do Kumon. They will also take a Diagnostic Test to assess his/her current ability and also see what level he/she will start in Kumon.
It is recommended that you contact the nearest Kumon Center if they can accept very small children and infants.
All the best!
