Perhaps you’ve already read about Kumon and are ready to begin your child’s journey to unveiling his/her true potential. The next step to take is to connect with your nearest Kumon Center. But how do you do this?
Here’s a quick guide to finding the Kumon Center near you and how to enroll.
Finding your Kumon Center
- Open the Find Us page.
On your browser, visit www.ph.kumonglobal.com/find-us. You can use a laptop, tablet, phone, or desktop to do this.
- Navigate the Search Options
On the right side of the screen, you will see a box labeled Search Options. There are two ways to utilize this.
For the first option, you may tap on the box Use My Location. A pop-up box will appear upon tapping this, asking you to allow the Kumon website to use your current location. Once access has been given, click Search.
For the second option, you may opt to search manually. To do this, input your location (Street, Barangay, City, Province) on the field labeled Enter Your Location.
After, click the drop-down menu right below to select the distance of the Centers from you. You may choose Centers 5, 10, and 25 kilometers from you. You may also select your location from the third drop-down menu for a more precise result.
Once all information has been placed, click Search.
- Check the Center Directory on the left side of the screen
On the left side of the screen, you will see a box containing the Center Directory. It should have the list of Centers nearest you, arranged according to proximity.
- Click the name of your preferred Center.
From the directory, click on the name of your preferred Center. It will lead you to a tab containing the following details of the Center:
- Name of Center
- Phone number
- Instructor’s name
- Facebook (if available)
- Mode of Instruction (Face-to-Face Classes or Online Instruction)
There is also a map on the topmost part of the Center’s Directory page to better see how to reach the location of the Center.
Enrolling in Kumon
Once you’ve pinned down the Center nearest you, you may proceed with the following steps.
- Reach out to the Center by calling their contact numbers or messaging their Facebook page (if available).
- Book an appointment for the next Parent Orientation and Online Diagnostic Test.
- Attend the Parent Orientation (PO) and Diagnostic Test (DT).
This step is important. The PO will give you a good understanding of the Kumon Method, the need to let your child undergo a DT, the routine of the Center, and other valuable information about your child’s Kumon study. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and clarifications with the Kumon Instructor.
- Enroll in the Kumon Program!
Once you’re done with the PO and DT, the Instructor will discuss the results of the DT. Feel free to ask questions or clarification during this stage for a smooth-sailing Kumon journey moving forward.
If everything’s all set, discuss the payment method and other steps with the Kumon Instructor to complete your child’s enrollment in Kumon.
